ARA In The Community
The ARA Group provides a complete range of facility services for buildings and infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand. Our company is built on a strong ethos of social responsibility and we believe that businesses should do their utmost to support the communities in which they work and live. We currently have over 2,500 ARA employees working across more than 40 Group locations and we pride ourselves on the strong partnerships we have built in our communities over the last seventeen years.
In 2009, we established The ARA Endowment Fund as a simple and affordable way for ARA staff to make donations to a range of Australian charities. Since starting the Endowment Fund, we have made donations to over 40 registered Australian charities. Our goal for the Endowment Fund is to grow the principal balance (currently $2 million) so that we can provide meaningful donations to Australian charities in perpetuity.
Today, we are focused on three select partnerships: The GO Foundation, The Indigenous Literacy Foundation and The David Lynch Foundation, each of which are dedicated to improving outcomes for youth in Australia. Our goal is to provide substantial contributions to each of these foundations for the foreseeable future.
The ARA Endowment Fund is more than a workplace giving program, it is part of ARA’s long-term commitment to the communities in which we work and live. We welcome external donations from our customers, suppliers and other businesses.
